Rock & roll and restoration come together on Friday November 11 for Rock the Plaza - a live show and fundraiser to preserve Palm Springs’ historic Plaza Theatre, headlined by Alice Cooper, Paul Rodgers (Free, Bad Company), Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age), and Orianthi (Michael Jackson).
Curated by musical directors guitarist Brian Ray (Paul McCartney) and keyboardist Spike Edney (Queen), the evening includes appearances by Ray and Edney, as well as guitarist Pete Thorn (Chris Cornell); bass player Jon Button (The Who); drummers Matt Sorum (Guns N’ Roses, The Cult) and Eric Singer (KISS); keyboardist Teddy Andreadis (Guns N’ Roses); and drag artist Diamondback Annie. DJ Chris Carter (KLOS, SiriusXM) hosts.
The benefit also includes a silent auction that includes go-go boots from Nancy Sinatra and Barry Manilow tickets, as well as items from Brian May and Adam Lambert.
Built in 1936, the Plaza Theatre is owned by the City of Palm Springs. Showgoers will experience how palatial the Spanish Colonial Revival building is - and how in need of loving care it is.

Diamondback joins the first-ever online edition of the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s annual gathering of burlesque performers from the world over, as one of the performers in their Showcase of live performances on Saturday, August 15th. Check out this cute teaser video of what’s in store, featuring the incredible Alotta Boutté, who will be emceeing the Live Showcase.
The VHoF Live Showcase is a daytime/early evening event, if you’re in the Western Hemisphere, running from 2:00-4:00pm Pacific Time (5:00-7:00pm Eastern.) If you’re in the UK, the show runs from 10:00pm-midnight; in Tokyo, 6:00-8:00am Sunday morning August 16th.
The Virtual Burlesque Hall of Fame runs for the entire month of August. Events include both ticketed weekend Showcase events, with lineups curated around different themes, as well as community classes, hangouts, and discussions free for all to attend.

Diamondback joins the Bootleg Bombshells for their weekly midnight burlesque show at the historic speakeasy in the basement of the Townhouse in Venice Beach. The high-energy show is as offbeat as Venice itself and features a rotating cast of professional dancers and polers.
