Diamondback Annie was awarded a Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs Performing Arts Division Commission for this tribute to Academy Award-winning costume designer Edith Head and her costumes for the classic film Sunset Boulevard. The piece debuts in May at Empowerment: Edith + Etta — a festival of dance, music, fashion, and spoken word celebrating the work of visionary California women Edith Head and Etta James.

Public performances take place Saturday May 3 at 8:00pm and Sunday May 4 at 4:00pm. All ages are welcome; tickets are free with reservation. RSVP details coming in late March.
