Join me for the debut screening of my short horror film, Homicidal! Guests get a scratch n sniff card so you can not only see and hear - but also smell - the macabre events onscreen.
Homicidal was inspired by the 1961 William Castle film of the same name, and by the #JohnWaters film Polyester. Cinematography + editing is by the talented Jasten King.
The screening is part of the LankerSCREAM Festival of Fright - a weekend of spooky performances + cinema.
Admission is FREE but advance reservations are strongly recommended as space is limited! All ages welcome. RSVP at https://m.bpt.me/event/6458850
The evening features short dance films based on the works of 1950s/60s horror director William Castle. Castle was known for his imaginative marketing gimmicks like theater seats wired to buzz and give the audience a scare at crucial moments!
Many thanks to the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs for making this project possible with a Dance in the City grant.
